ANTARCTICA

The “2041 International Antarctica Expedition” aims to highlight the effects of global warming and to ensure the continued protection of Antarctica from mining and exploitation beyond the year 2041, when the current international agreement ends.

Throughout the expedition, I will experience the wildlife of the frozen continent, live and breathe a sustainable lifestyle, and learn about the importance of preserving natural resources and the role of renewable energy in balancing the ecosystem. In addition to environmental knowledge and sustainable practices, the expedition is designed to develop personal and leadership skills.

That's it... in a few hours we are heading to Antarctica!
Embarking the "Sea Spirit" at 3pm, for a 2 day crossing of the Drake Passage, which happens to be the roughest sea in the world. Weather conditions look positive though!

Then... the last and greatest wilderness on earth, the most hostile and tough environment ... I just can't wait to be seduced by what I am about to discover.

I am not sure to be able to update my blog for the rest of the expeditio, so make sure to follow us on the official expedition blog  http://expedition.2041.com/

Mosquitos, prenez bien soin de vous, on se retrouve dans quelques jours! Continuez a m'ecrire et a me suivre. Je vous appelle des que je peux!

Love

ALL, Be safe and Be happy!
